What is Podcasting?
Podcasting lets you automatically receive pre-recorded audio programs on your computer, your iPod or on any other MP3 player. You decide which programs you'd like to getóanything from amateur audioblogs to professional radio programsóby "subscribing" to free feeds. Your podcasting software regularly checks for any new audio files and then, according to your preferences, downloads them to either your computer or your audio player. The files are then available and updated whenever you're ready to listen.

What do I need?
Contrary to its name, you do not need an Apple iPod (or any portable mp3 player for that matter). What you do need is a software program that will download all your new podcasts. We recommend Apple iTunes which is available for both Mac OSX and Windows.
