Pastor John and his wife Lynn followed God's leading in 1983 to begin Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze. John is a native of the Pensacola/Gulf Breeze area and has a real heart and connection to the Panhandle Gulf Coast. Pastor John has a BA degree from an Assembly of God Bible College and a Master of Divinity Degree from a Southern Baptist Seminary. Under the ministry of Pastor John, Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze has grown to not only impact the local area, but has missionaries, church plants and outreaches in many areas outside the United States. Pastor John and Lynn have three children and were married here in Gulf Breeze in 1977.
Pastor Bob is our Executive Pastor. He is responsible for serving, leading, and managing our pastoral staff. He has oversight regarding the fulfillment of the vision and mission of our church. Bob answered God's calling to join Calvary's pastoral staff following 37 years in business, including real estate investment and development, as well as financial management. Prior to his business career, Bob earned a B.A. degree in Economics, and then served as a Naval Officer. Bob has been active in numerous Christ-centered ministries since 1974, including serving on the Core Group and Board of Directors of Crown Ministries for 12 years. Bob and his lovely wife, Theresa, have enjoyed serving the Lord together in many ways. Theresa is currently active in our Women's Ministry.
Joe has served in an administrative position at Calvary since 1995. He and his wife Anna have been married for 18 years and have one son, Ian. They live in Gulf Breeze
Pastor Neil is the Assistant Pastor who oversees our High School, Young Adults, Missions, and Bookstore ministries. Neil answered God's calling to join Calvary's pastoral staff following 3 years of service at Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara, as he served in Children's and Youth ministry. Prior to full-time ministry, Neil earned a B.A. degree in Biblical Studies from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA; and was discipled by Pastor Jon Courson in Applegate, Oregon.
Dale joined our staff in November of 2001 as the overseer of the Calvary Boardriders Ministry. After serving the Lord with the local skaters he became our Jr. High Youth Pastor. After a couple of years in the Jr. High, he began to serve as our Sr. High Youth Pastor. Currently, Dale is our Calvary Kidz Pastor. He also teaches for our Calvary Chapel Bible College extension campus. Dale, his wife Michelle, and daughters Karis and Hannah are having a ball serving the Lord and our families here at Calvary Chapel. It is their hope to see the kids and families here finding joy and purpose as they serve the Lord together. Dale and Michelle have been living in the Gulf Breeze area for 25 years and were married in 1994.
Steve served as the Children's Ministry Pastor at CC Gulf Breeze from 1998 to 2004. He was also involved in the startup of our coffeehouse and bookstore. Currently, Pastor Steve oversees Counseling, Men's Ministry, Adult Education, Hospital Visitation and New Believer Discipleship through our Foundations Class. Steve along with wife Carol and dog Barney reside here in Gulf Breeze.
Randy joined our staff in September of 2004 after serving as a Chaplin for the career development center of the Waterfront Rescue Mission. Randy is responsible for maintaining the Coffeehouse as well as ministering to Young Couples. Randy is a Pensacola native and lives in Gulf Breeze with his wife Dawn and son Evan.
Brenton joined our staff in March of 2006 after moving here from northwest Ohio. He ministers to our Jr. High Youth Group as our Jr. High Youth Pastor. Some of the ways he does this is through weekly discipleship classes, monthly mission projects and fun events. Brenton also leads worship every Sunday morning and Wednesday night for our main services.
Jill joined our staff in September of 2006. She works with Lynn in our Women's Ministry, oversees our events and promotions and serves as the church's wedding coordinator. Jill comes to us from Major League Soccer (MLS) in New York City where she spent four years as the Manager of Player Personnel after graduating from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. Jill and her husband Crayton have been married since April 2006.
Terri joined our staff in February 2007. She works in the accounting department. Her responsibilities include processing timely payments to vendors. Additionally, Terri supports the ministry by keeping back office operations organized and functioning, as well as helping with other ministry projects. She and her husband Carl are both native Pensacolians and have been attending Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze since December 2004.
C.D. joined our staff in August 2006 after a career in accounting and banking. His responsibilities include supervising the church's finances, developing internal controls, and assisting the church's use of accounting information. C.D. and his wife Jennifer have attended Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze since September 2004.
Danya joined our staff in April of 2008. She serves as a ministry assistant to Pastor Neil and Pastor Brenton, working primarily within the youth ministries and worship ministry. Danya grew up attending Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze. In 2006 she graduated from Pensacola Junior College with her AA in General Studies and in June of 2007 graduated from Calvary Chapel Ft Lauderdale based music school, Ocean's Edge School of Worship (OESW). Her experience at OESW shaped and cultivated her love and passion for worship leading, and she hopes to continue developing her gifts as she serves on staff at Calvary.
Lea became a part of our staff January of 2008. She serves as the office receptionist, manages the Hospitality Ministry, and is administrative assistant to Jill, Pastor Bob, Pastor Joe, and Pastor John. Lea comes to Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze from Washington State where she earned her B.A. in business administration from Gonzaga University. She and her husband have been attending Calvary Chapel since arriving in Pensacola in October 2005. She currently lives in Pensacola with her husband Aaron and dog Indy.
Pastor John and Lynn started Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze in 1983 at an elementary school down the road from Calvary Chapel's current location. Under the leadership of Pastor John, the Lord has grown His church in Gulf Breeze. Lynn ministers to the women here at Calvary through our Women in Touch Ministry. This ministry involves Bible studies, retreats, prayer coffees, conferences and lots of other fun events for women.
Brittany joined our staff in April of 2008, serving as an assistant to Pastor Dale with the Calvary Kidz ministry. Her responsibilities include sorting/preparing curriculum, preparation of the classrooms, and distribution of the ready for adventure sand dollars. She has been attending Calvary for 3 years and is currently working on a degree for elementary education.
Michelle joined our staff in July 2007 after 7 years as a stay at home mom. She is married to our Calvary Kidz Pastor Dale Waltman, and serves part-time as his Assistant. Michelle and Dale have two daughters and enjoy serving the families and kids here at Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze. Michelle is for the most part a Gulf Breeze native, and has been attending Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze with Dale since 1992.
Timothy Kaemmerer joined our staff in April of 2008. He is an assistant to Cecilea Spencer and his responsibilities include updating and printing bulletins and designing posters and information cards for various events and ministries. He has been attending Calvary for 3 years and helps with the coffeehouse ministry and is a High School youth leader. Timothy is currently attending Pensacola Junior College for his A.A.S. in Graphics Design.
Keith and his wife Jennifer have been attending Calvary Chapel since the summer of 1996. They have served as volunteers in our Audio/Visual and Drama ministries, among others. Keith joined our staff in November of 2005 as head of the A/V Ministry. His responsibilities include recording and duplicating sermons, oversight of audio ministry volunteers, upkeep of A/V equipment, along with the many other tasks involved in this ministry.
Cecilea is our Graphic Designer. She creates visual promotion, such as posters, information cards, billboards, etc., for the church. She began serving at Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze in February 2006, as the Women's Ministry Assistant, and after only a short time, God called her into the Graphics Ministry. Before entering full time ministry, she earned an A.A.S degree in Graphic Design Technology, at Pensacola Junior College. Cecilea and her husband, Pastor Neil, enjoy serving together on staff and in youth ministry.
Ryan is a ministry assistant focusing on the development of our in-house video productions. Ryan joined Calvary's staff following a year internship at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, as he served as a production assistant and videographer. Currently Ryan serves full-time at Calvary and is attending classes at PJC to earn a degree in Graphic Design. God has used Ryan's talents and abilities in Europe, Africa, Mexico, and more. He also serves as a Jr. High and High School youth leader.
Grey Stephenson joined our staff in June of 2007. His responsibilities at Calvary Chapel include developing and maintaining the website (the one you're on) as well as assisting Ryan Spencer in video production. Grey is currently attending Pensacola Junior College as a dual-enrollment student and plans on graduating in 2009.
Austin joined our staff in August 2006 as a member of our facilities and grounds crew. He has been attending Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze since April of 2004.
Brad has been serving at CC Gulf Breeze since 1997. He maintains the beautiful campus that you see in any of our photos. Brad also cleans and prepares the facilities for any special event and regularly occurring classes, services, and functions that occur.
Jim joined the staff in July 2007, as a member of our facilities and grounds crew. Jim and his wife Deb have been attending Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze since April 2003.
